Thank you.  It’s true, I only follow 15 people.  They were all I relied on to get followers for the blog, and it worked.

It has been a year since my first entry on this blog, since the first letter I swore I would never send.

Since then, some of the people these notes were written for have left my life.  Some have become pieces that I know longer know how to exist without; integral parts of my day to day, of my soul, and my heart.  

In the last year, there have been times of action and silence.  There have been times when I couldn’t curb my tongue, and times when I could not command it to speak.  Sometimes months would go by, because I felt like I had nothing left to say.

I followed only fifteen people, a year ago.  I depended on them to investigate my blog, find something worth relaying in my words, and reblog, tell their friends, follow me back.  Since then, me following 10 people has turned into nearly 400 following me back.  I cannot explain the kind of magnitude that has, the kind of hope:

Someone is going to see these words for them.  They, still, will not know what was written for them. But they will read it.  That is what is important.
